7-Day Compassion Fatigue Prevention Challenge Join a week-long journey of self-care and connection using the Compassion Fatigue Toolkit. Each day, participants complete one simple task. At the end of the seven days, participants post a "story" sharing their experience with the challenge. Day Challenge Task 1 Take the Self-Assessment: Complete the toolkit’s worksheet. Post one insight about your stress triggers. 2 Set a Boundary: Identify and implement one new work-life boundary (e.g., no email after 7 pm). Tell us how it felt. 3 Mindful Minute: Practice a 5-minute guided breathing or Psalm meditation. Share which Psalm you chose. 4 Time-Out Ritual: Create a brief “debrief” ritual—10 minutes of journaling—after your last client. Post one takeaway. 5 Peer Check-In: Use the Discussion Guide to ask a colleague one question about their self-care routine. Summarize what you learned. 6 Action Plan: Fill out the toolkit’s weekly self-care goals page. Share one SMART goal you’re committing to. 7 Celebrate & Encourage: Reflect on your progress, then share one win and one encouragement for someone else. How to Participate: Download the Compassion Fatigue Toolkit from your member dashboard. Complete each day’s task at a time that works for you. Complete the challenge tasks. Post your experience as a "story" on the challenge page. By the end of Day 7, you’ll have practical habits in place, new self-care goals defined, and deeper connection with your peers—equipping you to serve more sustainably and joyfully. Pray the Psalms for 30 Days
Instructions Each day, read the Psalm, reflect on its meaning, and use the prayer guide to engage with God. Consider journaling your thoughts and and after you complete the challenge, share a story about how this challenge impacted you on your journey of spiritual formation. This journey is meant to deepen your intimacy with God and sharing your experience will help others on their journey. Meditate on Its Meaning – What is God revealing about Himself? Personalize It in Prayer: Praise – Thank God for who He is (e.g., "God, You are my refuge"). Repent – Confess any areas where you need grace. Ask – Bring your needs before God. Yield – Surrender to God’s will and trust Him. Journal Your Reflections – Write a brief note about how the Psalm speaks to you. Share with Others – Encourage someone by sharing your experience.
